Overcoming The Cycle of Fear

What do you fear? Why do you fear it? How do you overcome your fears? Have you ever felt complete freedom from your fears?

“and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.””

‭‭John‬ ‭8:32‬ ‭

Have you ever noticed that everyday you wake up you are living with fear and trauma that is hidden beneath all the lies you’ve told yourself to protect your heart?

You wake up, you feel like you’re having a great day, and then you get triggered and reminded of your fears.

So then you either push them aside and go along with your day, pretend they’re not there, or you cope with them by your addictions.

Guys, let me make this clear. Jesus died on the cross so you can be free.

Free from your fears! Free from your mess ups! Free from your anxiety! Free from your depression! Free from your fear of death! Free from your addictions! Free from your pain! Free from your trauma!

We can’t keep hiding ourselves and putting on masks. It hinders us from the joy we can truly have in this life.

We need to face hardships head on, surrender the control, and bring it to God.

“Lord, I pray that the lies that we’ve been telling ourselves to cope with how we are truly feeling would be revealed. Show us the ways that we are hurting ourselves by masking the pain. Lord comfort us right where we are and show us what we need. Father help us become more self aware and willing to change. Help us trust you more and be eager to know more of you. You are so good God. Amen.”
